In the morning we pick you up at your hotel (district 1 and parts of district 3) in Saigon by shuttle bus and then take you to Cai Be (approx. two hours drive). You board the wooden cruise boat around noon. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong people.
In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through the village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits.
Get back on board for fantastic photo opportunities along the river. Enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape. The boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner.Meals: B, L, D

This cruise was one of the highlights of my travels through Asia. The Dragon Eyes only has 2 cabins so it can accommodate up to 4 people. The boat was so lovely with big cabins cleanly and simply decorated all in teak paneling with these lovely floor to ceiling french doors so you can look right out onto the river. Everything about this cruise was perfect. Kim and the staff were attentive and made sure that each of us had anything we needed. Kim was so informative as she explained the sights along the river and especially when we left the ship to explore a typical small village in the Mekong. The food was remarkable, with traditional Vietnamese dishes and some Western options for breakfast if desired, all prepared and presented beautifully. My only complain is that the cruise is too short. I should have done what my fellow boat mates had done and book the cruise as a round trip instead of just the one way overnight trip to extend this wonderful cruise. This is the only way to explore the Mekong. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I had in Asia.

We loved our cruise! The rooms were big, the food was great and diverse, the staff was warm hearted, creative and flexible. Our guide Wang was a very kind, intelligent and cultivated companion and Mi, the waitress, the sweetest and very creative when it came to carving food or folding napkins and towels. This is an interesting way to travel to Phu Quoc. We can only recommend this beautiful ship, the interesting cruise program and the super friendly staff!

We booked the two day cruise where you are just 2 on the boat and this was just an amazing experience. You have the boat and the crew for you alone...nice lunch and dinner, very romantic cabin... nothing to say...just enjoy

We originally booked onto the Mekong Eyes cruise and were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Dragon Eyes - 4 guests only. We did the 2 day, 1 night cruise and it was amazing. Can’t talk highly enough about our wonderful guide Daisy, she was informative, friendly and a lot of fun to spend two days with. We visited small village, floating markets, noodle making house and even a primary school. Daisy and Lucky thank you for making our trip memorable. Food is great, cabins comfortable with great air conditioning (which was a welcome relief from the heat) spent most of my time relaxing on the day bed on the top deck. Highly recommend anyone thinking of doing a day trip to change it to an overnight... the Mekong River is somewhere you need longer than a day to really experience it

We enjoyed our stay at Dragon eyes. The service was fantastic and we were treated like kings and queens from the moment we entered the boat. The staff worked to the best of their abilities to make us feel right at home. Mr Hayden and Ms Kim were excellent guides and we enjoyed our food decoration class with Mr Lucky. It was an incredible experience. It was a shame that we could spend only two days on the boat. Will definitely come back.
