  • Cancellation by Customer

    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Notes:

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.
    • All cancellations must be in person or in writing and received by us
  • Cancellation by Weather

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

    • Under 4 years: Free of Charge.
    • From 4 to 8 years old: 50% of adult’s fare and sharing bed with parents.
    • From 9 to 11 years old: 75% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.
    • Students with ID student card: 95% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.
    • Over 11 years old: 100% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay - Vung Vieng Fishing Village

07.30 – 08.00 Pickup service by shuttle bus at meeting point (47 Le Van Huu Str) or Hanoi Old Quarters (optional).
Transfer by tender to boat, enjoy Welcome Drink, Depart to Bai Tu long Bay.
13.00 - 14.30 Enjoy Lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way.
15.30 - 16.30 Transfer from boat to rowing boat to visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Rowers are local people wearing traditional costume. It’s the opportunity to see the fisher’s daily life with the primary features in the charming nature.
17.30 Return to boat - Continue cruising through the bay.
18.30 Anchor for overnight at Cong Do area.
18.30 - 19.00 Cooking Demonstration in restaurant.
19.30 - 21.00 Savor a delicious Set Dinner in dinning room.
21.00 - 22.30 Activities: Relax on deck, Beauty Spa services, drink service available or night time fishing.
23.00 Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.

Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay - Victory Cruise

06.30 Enjoy Sunrise over the Bay or take part in our morning Tai Chi session.
06.45 - 07.45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in dining room.
08.00 - 8.30 Full Breakfast will be served in dining room.
08.30 - 09.00 Pack lightly; swimwear and a set of clothes. Towels will be provided. As there are different activities during the day please bring both shoes and flip-flops.
9.00 Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” . Begin to cruise to some of Bai Tu Long Bay’s more Untouched Locales. Exact locations depend on tide conditions.
09.30 - 16.30 Enjoy a leisurely day of Sightseeing, Kayaking and Swimming. A multi- course Lunch will be served mid-day.
16.30 Return to Victory boat.
18.30 Anchor for overnight at Cong Do area.
18.30 Cooking demonstration in restaurant.
19.30 - 21.00 Savor a delicious Set Dinner in dining room.

This is the only way to travel on the Bay. Excellent amenities, my cabin even had a balcony on this relatively small craft. The food, breakfast, dinner and lunch were without doubt the best I had during my 15 day visit to Vietnam

We booked the two night cruise but the incoming storm deprived us of our second night in a beautiful cabin with balcony. However, the beauty of the karsts, the sunshine, the floating villages all with dogs, the kayaking, the caves with growing stalacmites and stalactites made up for the ludicrously expensive wines and the seriously mediocre food which is really unforgivable. Nature provides all; it would be so easy for man to do better.

We went with Victory Cruises and had a great time. The boat was maybe a little tired, but this gave it a bit of character, and everything was very clean. Our cabin had all of the facilities we needed, and a little balcony so we could sit outside to admire the scenery. We were very lucky with the weather, and the blue sky made a fantastic backdrop to the hundreds of islands. The trip included a visit to an Island, so we could swim in the sea, go kayaking, etc.; and a trip to another island with a cave to explore. Luckily, we got to the cave very early, because we were first in, but by the time we tried to get back out, we had to wait for ages due to the number of people pouring in! There was also an opportunity to try some squid fishing at the stern of the boat, in the evening, but this was a bit of a joke and no squid were sighted! We had lunch, dinner and breakfast on the boat. The food was excellent, including the buffets. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

A professionally managed tour with a fantastic junk, cruise manager and staff. This one night two day cruise saw us visiting a floating fishing village, a beach and a cave. Awesome natural attractions. More international beer on tap is required and perhaps more crew who are able to speak English. A great experience all round and recommended for the entire family.

Can I first say that I have no sea legs whatsoever, so the thought of staying overnight on this boat as part of our tour of Vietnam filled me with dread. But what a boat!! The cabins were stunning along with the food and the staff who were extremely helpful. I also managed to treat myself to a manicure while laying back and watching the world go by.
