You go along Highway 27 via Lac Thien Pass about 10km. When reaching Lien Son town, turning right a few hundred meters, you'll see the palace of former King Bao Dai. The house is located on a high hill overlooking the Lak lake.

By bus

You will take the bus number 16, with route Buon Ma Thuot - Highway 27 - Dak Lieng junction, Lien Son town. From here, you can take a motorcycle taxi to Lak lake.

The price of entering Lak lake is quite low, only VND 10,000/person. You can rent a boat to paddle on the lake and watch the green forests covering the region.

Best time to visit

The Central Highlands in general and the lake, in particular, have a climate divided into the rainy season and the dry season. Of which, the best time for a trip to Lak lake is from December to February every year.
