- Cu Chi Tunnels Motorbiking tour full day

08:00am The tour will depart from District One and head north-west out of the city. Along the way you will see some amazing countryside views, rubber tree plantations, rice fields and the occasional water buffalo.
Upon getting to the tunnels, you will explore this underground labyrinth of tunnels with our guide taking you to the original size entrance, crawling through the bottle neck and generally learn about what life and war was like for the Viet Cong who lived in these tunnels. The Cu Chi tunnels are a whopping 250km in size. The network, parts of which were several storeys deep, included countless trapdoors, constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. It promises to be an educational and unforgettable experience.
After Cu Chi, the tour stops at a nearby restaurant where beef is the main highlight. It is a good chance to explore local cuisine such as barbecue steak, fresh spring rolls with beef and a variety of mints, barbecued ribs with lemongrass, and beef hotpot. What could be better than sitting back, checking out some photos taken in the tunnels or the bike ride while waiting for your steak and enjoying an icy cold Saigon beer!Meals: L

Went on the one day cu chi tour tunnel with my father, we both had a blast. The very knowledgeable guides showed us not only the full extent of the tunnels, but also the countryside and local restaurants, including the best bread cake I've ever had. The guides were expert riders, and I never felt unsafe, which is difficult to pull of when driving in Vietnam.

The tour guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions the whole trip - he also had a flair for drama! He was also very impartial. This wasn't a propaganda tour at all.Cu Chi itself was extensive and there was lots to do. The tunnels were only one part of the whole experience. We saw the hiding places, the traps, the weapons, the food, the guns and vehicles. It was all fascinating. I highly recommend it.

Vung and Yu were our guides and collected us from hotel at 8am for Cu chi tunnels tour. Great fun and very good driving skills shown! I went on this tour with my son who is 11 and he thoroughly enjoyed it. A real experience. Lovely lunch provided and guides gave really interesting and genuine insight into Vietnam life. The tunnels really interesting and worth the visit. My son also had the chance to fire an AK47, ear muffs provided - very loud!!! Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this one day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels while you are in Saigon. Vu & Duong are excellent drivers and guides and took us through cool spots before arriving at the tunnels. You also have the opportunity to go to shooting range after the tour. If you want a bit of adventure and off the beaten track tour, which also avoids the crowds then this is a great option.

Arranged the Cu Chi Tunnels trip while we had a few days in Saigon on the way to Hoi An. Have to say it was a magnificent day from start to finish. We met our guides, Yung and Vu, at the hotel and away we went thru the hustle and bustle of the streets of Saigon. As hair raising as it can be, you can't help but smile and be in awe of how everyone works together on the roads. We stopped half way in quite an opposite setting. A peaceful field watching water buffalo bath. After three hours we arrived at Cu Chi where Yung guided us through the tunnels. He was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. The tunnels were amazing and very interesting. There were also displays of different traps and tricks used against the southern and US forces. We stopped for a lunch of traditional Vietnamese food and then we were on our way again. The storm on the way back to Saigon didn't dampen the day. All in all I highly recommend this tour. It's an amazing and educational experience.
